Our renowned CENTRE FOR TRAINING AND UPDATING FOR TEACHERS involved in music education has been offering a wide range of courses, collaborations and meetings with leading experts for more than 25 years.

Since the first courses in the 1995-1996 school year, the refresher courses offered to teachers at our Centre have been countless and very popular over the years.

At any given time, more than 150 teachers from state and private schools or music schools take part in our courses each school year. These teachers can thus consolidate and update their didactic-musical skills and experiment with new materials and modern methods according to the National Indications for teaching music in compulsory schooling.

COURSES OF THE CENTRE

• Educazione al suono e alla musica per docenti di SCUOLA DELL’INFANZIA (25 ore)
• Educazione al suono e alla musica per docenti di SCUOLA PRIMARIA (25 ore)
• Corso di Formazione Metodo “io cresco con la musica®” (25 ore)
• Corso di Formazione Annuale 110 ore (10 week end durante l’anno)
• Didattica della chitarra (25 ore)
• Didattica del pianoforte (25 ore)
• Direzione e Concertazione corale (40 ore in 10 incontri durante l’anno)
• Corso di formazione di ritmica e body-percussion (25 ore)

The Training Centre also offers training courses in Choral Conducting and Vocality (15 hours) and Introduzione alla Notazione Musicale Braille.

All the Centre's courses are offered nationally..
It is possible to use the Teacher's Card to enrol in the courses.

RECOGNITIONS

• In January 2004 the Gaetano Marziali Academy Training Centre was included in the definitive list of the organisations accredited by the MIUR for the training of school personnel (D. M. 177/2000 - Directive 90/2003. M. 177/2000 - Directive 90/2003).
