MUSIC
The Gaetano Marziali Academy offers preparatory music courses for children using the "Io cresco con la musica©”, method, individual or group instrument courses in classical or modern music, theory courses as well as specialisation and masterclass with Italian and foreign masters.
From the very beginning, the focus on children led to the development of a unique and innovative learning method based on play: "io cresco con la musica©", true excellence of the Academy. The success of the method has been such that it has been used since the 1990s for teaching in numerous Italian schools. The Academy itself proposes and activates musical education courses and projects using the "io cresco con la musica©" method in nursery and primary schools. The Gaetano Marziali Academy is an important point of reference at national level for music teaching, becoming a Teacher Training and Update Centre method "io cresco con la musica©".
The Academy is recognised by the Lombardy Regional School Office ex art. 5 of Ministerial Directive 170/2016, for numerous courses offered annually within the Training Centre.
With the Guitar Festival, the Guitar Making Exhibition and the "Gaetano Marziali" Classical Guitar Competition, the Academy has also become a point of reference in the world of classical guitar, with the aim of creating opportunities for young musicians to be valued and promoted artistically. The Academy has always been a centre for advanced training in music, and has made chamber music its strong point. Over the years, its teachers have included pianist Bruno Canino, tenor Vittorio Terranova, violinist Mariana Sirbu, flutist Konrad Klemm, and more recently Davide Formisano, saxophonist Mario Marzi, pianist Annibale Rebaudengo, and other well-known musicians.
